Stephen King Criticizes Trump's New Press Secretary
Over the weekend, King took to X and accused Zacharia of having a controversial online history, alleging that she promoted vaccine conspiracy theories, advocated overturning constitutional norms and encouraged Trump to pursue another presidential term.
He also suggested Zacharia tried to take some of her past statements out of public view.
“NEW PRESS SECRETARY has had a sordid online history … she appears to have tried to expunge from the public record,” he wrote.
DONALD TRUMP'S NEW PRESS SECRETARY has had a sordid online history of spreading vaccine conspiracy theories, calling for the upending of constitutional norms, and encouraging the president to run for a third term in office—she appears to have tried to expunge from the public…

Trump announced Friday that Zacharia, a lawyer and conservative commentator at Trump Media & Technology (NASDAQ:DJT), would replace Karoline Leavitt as White House press secretary.
Leavitt left the administration in late August after previously taking maternity leave following the birth of her second child. She is expected to join Fox News as an on-air contributor next month.
Katie Zacharia's Controversial Social Media Posts
According to her LinkedIn profile, Zacharia joined Trump Media as a senior communications adviser in June.
She also serves as general counsel for Fix California, a conservative activist group founded by Richard Grenell, Trump's special presidential envoy for special missions.
She previously worked as a spokeswoman for the Department of Homeland Security and has made numerous appearances on Fox News and other conservative media outlets.
On social media, Zacharia promoted the false claim that the 2020 presidential election was stolen and described climate change as a "hoax." She also claimed that green energy was part of "China's plot to subdue the United States."
In August, Zacharia said refusing COVID-19 vaccination saved her son, whom she described as a thriving 5-year-old. However, no scientific evidence supports her claim.
Much like voting for President Trump in 2020 and being ostracized and disowned by friends, family, and a church for it, my resolute NO on the COVID jab and further disowning by the aforementioned most assuredly saved my unborn baby boy who is now a thriving 5 y/o.
