Greene Responds to Trump's Email
On Sunday, Greene shared a screenshot of Trump's 2026 campaign-branded email on X, which read, "Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor, did I do something wrong?"
In response, Greene accused Trump of protecting people connected to the convicted sex offender and prioritizing political allies over victims of sexual abuse.
Greene Slams Iran War and Rising Costs
She criticized Trump's handling of the Iran war, alleging that it had killed children and civilians, left 21 U.S. service members dead and wounded 865 others.
She also accused his administration of supporting actions in Gaza that had caused widespread suffering among Palestinian children.
Greene further faulted Trump for rising living costs and fuel prices, arguing that he had failed to deliver on his economic promises.
"So did you do something wrong? Yes in summary, YOU are the snake that you warned us all about in the poem you read over and over," she wrote.
Trump has repeatedly recited "The Snake," a poem written by Al Wilson, at political rallies, using its story of a woman who takes in a snake only to be bitten by it as a warning about trusting those he portrays as dangerous.
Greene turned that metaphor against Trump, accusing him of betraying the Americans who supported him.
She concluded by accusing Trump, "You never cared about putting America first or making America great again," adding, "And my mistake was supporting you in the first place."
Oh he sent me an email, I think I'll respond.

Trump's Campaign Promises on Taxes and Debt
Last month, Trump's $5,000 dividend proposal faced scrutiny over its $1.23 trillion cost amid a projected $2.1 trillion fiscal 2026 deficit.
Vice President JD Vance suggested wealthy Americans could be excluded, but no income limit had been specified.
In July, investor Jason Calacanis criticized Trump for failing to reduce the national debt, projecting more than $9 trillion in additional borrowing during his second term.
Meanwhile, economist Justin Wolfers criticized Trump's tax legislation, arguing that tax breaks for tips, overtime and older Americans had limitations and would expire at the end of 2028, while tax cuts for wealthy Americans were permanent.
