What the CEO Is Saying
"Our fiscal first quarter results demonstrate the accelerating demand for our AI semiconductor test and burn-in solutions and our ability to execute against expanding customer production requirements," said CEO Gayn Erickson.
"Revenue increased 200% year-over-year and 75% sequentially to a record $33 million, while bookings of $46.7 million exceeded revenue by over 40%, reflecting continued strong demand for our wafer-level and package-level burn-in solutions," Erickson added.
Where the Stock Stands
According to market data, Aehr stock was up 14.67% to $59.02 in Monday's extended trading session. For a company that makes the equipment used to test and burn in semiconductors, especially those headed into AI applications, the message from these results is that demand is not slowing down anytime soon.
