Eric Trump Slams Criticism of Susan Dell
On Monday, in a post on X, President Trump's second son praised Susan Dell and her husband, Michael Dell, founder of Dell Technologies, Inc. (NYSE:DELL), for committing $6.25 billion to fund Trump Accounts for 25 million children.
Eric Trump praised the couple's contribution, describing it as "one of, if not the largest private donation in American History."
"The response? Vicious attacks on her," he wrote.
He added, "I'm tired of this nonsense. Very few people have done more for philanthropy. It's disgusting and it has to stop."
He concluded his message by thanking Susan Dell, writing, "Susan, on behalf of the overwhelming majority of people in this nation: Thank You!! You are incredible!"
People are awful. Susan and Michael Dell just put $6.25 billion into Trump Accounts for 25 million kids so they'll have something waiting for them when they grow up—one of, if not the largest private donation in American History.

Susan Dell Faces Online Backlash
The criticism began days earlier after 62-year-old Susan Dell appeared at the White House alongside President Donald Trump and her husband to promote Trump Accounts.
On social media, users focused on her facial expressions, makeup and mannerisms. Some speculated about possible cosmetic procedures, while others criticized her overall appearance.
Trump Accounts Expanded Nationwide
Earlier this month, Social Security Administration Commissioner Frank Bisignano said Trump Accounts were expected to reach about 70 million automatically enrolled accounts by mid-October, with 25 million projected to be funded.
Trump urged parents to claim the accounts, while the White House said more than $4.5 billion had entered the program.
In July, Michael and Susan Dell had pledged $6.25 billion to provide $250 to 25 million eligible children. About 72 companies had signed up to offer matching grants for newborns, while eligible children born between 2025 and 2028 were set to receive a one-time $1,000 federal contribution.
Trump Accounts, launched under Trump's One Big Beautiful Bill Act on July 4, offered eligible children born between 2025 and 2028 a $1,000 federal contribution, with additional annual contributions of up to $5,000.
The funds were invested primarily in U.S. stock index funds and ETFs and generally became accessible at age 18.
