Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) is still one of the most closely watched members of Congress when it comes to stock trading. Her latest disclosures, made through her husband Paul Pelosi, show a hefty bet on two tech and energy names.

Two New Stock Picks
According to the MarketDash Government Trades page, Pelosi reported a series of transactions in July. All trades are marked as spouse, meaning they were executed by Paul Pelosi. Here's the breakdown:
- July 28: Bought 100 call options on Bloom Energy (NYSE: BE) with a strike price of $100 and expiration date of June 17, 2027, valued at $500,000 to $1 million.
- July 28: Bought 5,000 shares of Bloom Energy, valued at $500,000 to $1 million.
- July 24: Bought 10,000 shares of Bloom Energy, valued at $1 million to $5 million.
- July 24: Bought 100 call options on Bloom Energy with a strike price of $100 and expiration date of June 17, 2027, valued at $1 million to $5 million.
- July 24: Bought 100 call options on Intel Corp (NASDAQ: INTC) with a strike price of $50 and expiration date of June 17, 2027, valued at $250,000 to $500,000.
- July 24: Bought 10,000 shares of Intel Corp, valued at $500,000 to $1 million.
Add it all up, and the combined purchases in Bloom Energy and Intel range from $3.75 million to $13.5 million. To put that in perspective, a congressional salary is $174,000 a year, so at the high end, these trades are 77.6 times Pelosi's annual pay.
Pelosi also disclosed an additional $500,000 to $1 million investment in REOF XXV, an LLC involved in acquiring and restoring a luxury hotel in San Francisco.
These are the third set of trades Pelosi has made this year, and they come as both stocks have had monster runs. Bloom Energy is up 136.6% as of Monday, and Intel is up 121.1% year-to-date. While this is Pelosi's first foray into Bloom Energy, she previously bought Intel calls back in June.
Pelosi's Trading Pattern
These latest purchases follow a familiar pattern for Pelosi. She tends to pour millions into large-cap tech stocks and uses options strategies, often buying in-the-money calls with expiration dates more than a year out. That's exactly what we see here with the June 2027 expirations.
According to data from Quiver Quantitative, Pelosi has disclosed about $18 million in stock transactions in 2026. In 2025, she disclosed $48.63 million in trades, with the majority ($42.88 million) being sales.
Here's a notable twist: Pelosi is not running for re-election in 2026, so starting in January 2027, investors and the public will no longer get these disclosures. That means the window for tracking her moves is closing.
