Sen. Elizabeth Warren isn't pulling punches. In a Sunday post on X, the Massachusetts Democrat unloaded on President Donald Trump, declaring his administration the most corrupt in American history. The targets of her criticism? A memecoin bearing his name, exclusive dinners with corporate titans, and tax cuts that disproportionately benefit billionaires.

A Memecoin, Million-Dollar Dinners, and Dismissed Watchdogs

Warren's critique hit multiple fronts. She called out Trump's involvement with Official Trump (TRUMP), a cryptocurrency that has become something of a cautionary tale since its January debut. The memecoin has plummeted more than 90% from its launch price, though Trump has pushed back against allegations that he's personally profiting from the venture.

The senator also took aim at what she described as "multi-million dinners" with CEOs, likely referencing a private White House gathering last month that brought together a select group of prominent Wall Street executives. It's the kind of access that doesn't come cheap and raises questions about who gets face time with the president.

Then there's the matter of fired inspectors general. Shortly after assuming office, Trump dismissed at least 17 of these independent watchdogs from federal cabinet departments and agencies. These officials are supposed to root out corruption and waste, so removing them en masse has sparked concerns about accountability and whether the administration is sidestepping legal oversight requirements.

Tax Cuts That Favor the Forbes 400

Warren also zeroed in on Trump's tax policies, particularly the 2017 GOP tax overhaul that he's fond of calling his "big, beautiful bill." A study found that the effective tax rate for America's wealthiest 0.0002%—essentially the billionaires on the Forbes 400 list—dropped from 30% to 24% after the legislation passed. It's hard to argue those cuts weren't designed with the ultra-wealthy in mind.

Crypto Criticism Extends Beyond Trump

Warren has been one of the loudest voices against the Trump family's cryptocurrency ventures, which also include USD1, a dollar-pegged stablecoin. She hasn't limited her criticism to Republicans, either, taking shots at Democratic lawmakers who've supported cryptocurrency legislation.

"Donald Trump is the most corrupt president in our nation's history," Warren stated flatly in her post.
