Arista Networks Inc. (ANET) posted its third-quarter fiscal 2026 results after Tuesday's closing bell, and the numbers were the kind that make analysts go back and check their models.

The Q3 Numbers

Arista reported quarterly adjusted earnings of $1.20 per share, which beat the analyst estimate of $1.08, according to market data.

Quarterly revenue came in at $3.66 billion, which beat the Street estimate of $3.33 billion.

CEO Jayshree Ullal did not hold back in her assessment of the quarter.

"Arista registered another momentous quarter with the highest year-over-year revenue growth since our IPO and record profitability, surpassing even my high expectations," Ullal said.

"This strong momentum across customer sectors highlights our increased relevance for the generative and agentic AI era," Ullal added.

Looking Ahead

If the third quarter was good, the fourth-quarter guidance was arguably the bigger story. Arista expects adjusted EPS of $1.26-$1.30, versus the $1.15 analyst estimate, and revenue in a range of $3.9 billion to $4 billion, versus the $3.6 billion estimate.

That is a wide gap between guidance and expectations, and the market noticed.
