Technical Analysis
From a longer-term trend perspective, the stock is still up 78.11% over the past 12 months, but the near-term structure has weakened as price has slipped back under key moving averages. At $197.00, shares are trading 23% below the 20-day SMA ($257.30), about 20.2% below the 50-day SMA ($248.30) and 100-day SMA ($248.35), and about 9.7% below the 200-day SMA ($219.29).
The bigger-picture crossover setup still leans constructive—20-day SMA remains above the 50-day SMA, and the 50-day SMA is above the 200-day SMA—yet price being below all of them tells you the uptrend is under pressure right now. In practical terms, bulls typically want to see the stock reclaim at least the 200-day area ($219.29) to argue the longer-term trend is reasserting itself.
BE Stock Price Activity: Bloom Energy shares were up 1.91% at $197 during premarket trading on Monday, according to market data.
