Insmed CFO Transition and 2026 Guidance Reaffirmed
Insmed said CFO Sara Bonstein will step down on October 30 after nearly seven years in the role, while the company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 financial guidance.
"We are now well positioned to reach cash flow positivity next year with what we view as a clear path toward sustained top-line growth and bottom-line profitability," said Will Lewis, Chair and CEO of Insmed.
Insmed reaffirms its full-year 2026 financial guidance of revenue in the range of $1.25 billion to $1.40 billion for BRINSUPRI (brensocatib) and $450 million to $470 million for ARIKAYCE (amikacin liposome inhalation suspension).
In September, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) accepted Insmed's supplemental application for ARIKAYCE for Mycobacterium avium complex (MAC) lung disease as part of a combination antibacterial drug regimen.
The FDA granted Priority Review and set a target action date of January 28, 2027.
INSM Technical Outlook: Downtrend And Key Support Levels
From a longer-term chart perspective, the stock is still in a downtrend: it's trading 20.8% below its 200-day SMA ($133.09) and 12% below its 50-day SMA ($119.82), which keeps rallies vulnerable to selling pressure.
Even after the pullback, price is also 6.6% below the 100-day SMA ($112.89), suggesting the market hasn't reclaimed the intermediate trend.
The death cross that formed in April (50-day SMA below the 200-day SMA) remains an overhang for longer-term trend followers, even though the 20-day SMA is still above the 50-day SMA (a shorter-term bullish crossover).
- Key Resistance: $119.50 — a nearby level where rebounds can stall, sitting close to the 50-day/20-day moving-average area
- Key Support: $105.00 — a nearby level where buyers previously stepped in, close to the current price zone
