Nexalin Technology Inc. (NXL) stock surged Thursday after the micro-cap medical technology company signed a 10-year distribution and manufacturing agreement covering seven South American countries.
The move came with unusually heavy trading. Nexalin's session volume reached about 53.9 million shares, compared with a 100-day average of roughly 10,846 shares. That is nearly 5,000 times its typical daily volume.
The company had a market capitalization of about $3.55 million based on the previous close. Stocks of that size can experience sharp price swings when trading volume rises suddenly, particularly when the public float and normal liquidity are limited.
The deal with Inovanexa Medical Technologies S.A. covers Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Ecuador and Venezuela. The territory includes more than 300 million people.
Regulatory Foundation And Market Scope
The agreement formalizes and replaces a letter of intent signed in February 2026 and features successive 10-year renewal options tied to performance.
It builds upon regulatory clearance from Brazil's National Health Surveillance Agency (ANVISA), which approved the Nexalin Sync device to treat anxiety, depression, and insomnia.
A clinical trial at the Institute of Psychiatry, Hospital das Clínicas, University of São Paulo, demonstrated a 77.8% anxiety response rate.
This groundwork establishes a commercial launchpad in Brazil, where over 35 million of its 215 million citizens suffer from mental health disorders.
Clinical Pilot And Commercial Roadmap
Inovanexa must place an initial binding order for 10 Nexalin Sync units, with five delivered immediately to launch a clinical pilot program in Brazil within 90 days.
The agreement defines a structured pricing model for the first 100 devices and equal profit-sharing on qualifying private-sector transactions involving locally assembled units.
Operating under the trade name "Nexalin LATAM," the distributor gains authorization to pursue public hospital tenders and government procurement contracts across federal, state, and municipal channels.
Local Manufacturing And IP Rights
Upon purchasing 30 units, Inovanexa will establish a local manufacturing plant in Brazil at zero capital cost to Nexalin, complying with FDA-compatible quality standards under technical supervision.
Nexalin receives fixed per-device payments along with recurring per-unit royalties on all sold disposable electrodes.
Nexalin retains sole ownership of all patents, software, and intellectual property while exclusively supplying encrypted circuit boards required for operation.
Inovanexa assumes full responsibility for all importation, marketing, regulatory compliance, and manufacturing costs.
NXL Price Action: Nexalin Technology shares were up 80.61% to $7.73 at the time of publication on Thursday, according to market data.
