Bank of America Corp. (NYSE:BAC) said Monday it launched the AskGPS Intelligence Hub, expanding its internal generative AI platform for Global Payments Solutions employees.

The new tools will combine client, account and relationship data to help employees prepare for treasury discussions and identify changing client needs.

The Intelligence Hub builds on AskGPS, which Bank of America introduced in 2025 and now supports nearly 3,000 employees.

Initial features will include AI-powered Treasury Management Reviews, digital account schematics and enhanced relationship insights.

The bank said employees will remain responsible for judgment, decisions and client interactions. AskGPS operates under Bank of America's Responsible AI framework, which includes governance, testing and oversight.

Adds AI-Powered Payments Insights To CashPro

Separately, Bank of America launched Payments Insights on Monday, adding a new AI-powered analytics capability to its CashPro platform.

The tool gives corporate and commercial clients insights into payment efficiency, cross-border flows and working-capital performance across U.S. accounts. It also uses peer benchmarking and visualizations to help treasury teams identify trends and potential areas for improvement.

CashPro processed 213 million payments in the first half of 2026, up 10% year over year.

Payments Insights is part of CashPro Data Intelligence, which also includes Capital Markets Insights, Mobile Security Insights, CashPro Forecasting and CashPro Search. The bank plans to expand additional CashPro security capabilities globally in 2027.

Bank of America Stock Analysis

Bank of America stock trading lower by nearly 2% on Monday as rising risk aversion pressures financial stocks and the broader market. The Nasdaq is down 1.02%, while the S&P 500 has lost 0.60%.

Bank of America's decline appears largely tied to broader market weakness rather than a company-specific development. Most sectors are trading lower, with only three in positive territory.

Bank of America remains under pressure in the short term. Shares are trading 6.5% below the 20-day simple moving average and 9.1% below the 50-day SMA.

However, the stock remains about 0.9% above its 200-day SMA, an important longer-term support level.

The relative strength index stands at 27.42. A reading below 30 is generally considered oversold and can signal that selling has become stretched.

The 20-day SMA remains below the 50-day SMA. However, the 50-day average is still above the 200-day SMA following a golden cross in June.

Analyst Outlook

The stock carries a Buy consensus rating and an average price forecast of $65.57.

UBS raised its price forecast to $70 while maintaining a Buy rating on Aug. 3. JPMorgan raised its forecast to $68 with an Overweight rating on July 29. Evercore ISI raised its forecast to $67 and maintained an Outperform rating on July 17.

Bank of America ETF Exposure

Bank of America is a major holding in several financial-sector ETFs. It represents about 5.07% of the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund (NYSE:XLF) and 8.78% of the Invesco KBW Bank ETF (NASDAQ:KBWB).
