SkyBridge Capital founder Anthony Scaramucci has a message for anyone hoping the next election will fix everything: don't hold your breath. In his view, America's two-party political system has failed to address voters' concerns, and repeatedly shifting power between Democrats and Republicans could actually deepen the country's problems.

Scaramucci Slams America's Two-Party System
On Wednesday, in a post on X, Scaramucci argued that neither major party offers a lasting solution to the country's political challenges.
"The Great Party Duopoly got us here," he wrote. "Continuing to swing back and forth within that structure will only make things even worse."
He argued that voters dissatisfied with Democrats or Republicans should reconsider the idea that either party alone can fix the country.
"The Republican Party doesn't exist as a party anymore, and there's no hope of restoring it," Scaramucci said, adding that "People are looking for something else."
He also argued that those opposed to Trumpist politics should not assume that simply returning Democrats to power would resolve the broader issues.
"Parties die. The GOP already has. It's time for the funeral," Scaramucci wrote. "Something will rise from the ashes."
Greene Criticizes Two-Party System
Scaramucci isn't the only one taking aim at the duopoly. In July, former Georgia Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene criticized America's two-party political system, arguing that it divided Americans while serving the interests of the elite.
She argued that the system had left Americans burdened by roughly $40 trillion in debt, threatened the future of Social Security and Medicare, and weakened the dollar.
Her comments came as long-time supporter of President Donald Trump turned critic Tucker Carlson said he would work to create a "new political party," arguing that the U.S. had become a "one-party state."
Trump Predicted GOP Midterm Victory
On Monday, Trump used his Labor Day message to attack Democrats and predict a "BIG" Republican victory in the 2026 midterm elections.
He accused the "Radical Left" of trying to "destroy our Country" and said Democrats would make "one last shot at ruining America."
Trump said Republicans would "win the Midterms, BIG, and SAVE AMERICA!" as the GOP prepared for the final stretch of the campaign.
Trump has also signaled plans to campaign for Republican candidates ahead of the midterms.
