Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) didn't mince words on Wednesday, calling President Donald Trump the "most corrupt" president in American history. Her critique zeroed in on Trump's business dealings during his second term, particularly his cryptocurrency ventures.

Warren Takes Aim at Crypto Profits
Warren highlighted that Trump earned more than $1.4 billion from crypto ventures in 2025. That windfall included over $520 million from the sale of tokens issued by World Liberty Financial and more than $635 million in royalties from the Official Trump (CRYPTO: TRUMP) memecoin.
In a post on X, Warren laid out the numbers: "$1.4 billion in crypto scams. Selling access to early social posts at $100,000 a pop. A $400 million jet from Qatar. It's a long, long, long list. And it's getting longer every day. Donald Trump is the most corrupt president in American history."
'It's a Long, Long, Long List'
Beyond crypto, Warren pointed to other ventures. Trump Media and Technology Group Corp. (NASDAQ: DJT) offers a service that charges between $60,000 and $100,000 a month for early access to posts from 10 prominent Truth Social accounts, including Trump's own. Two media organizations have already sued Trump over this service.
Warren also raised concerns about the conversion of a Qatari 747 jet, which Trump received as a "gift," into the new Air Force. Experts say the effort could cost taxpayers over $1 billion and take years to complete.
"It's a long, long, long list. And it's getting longer every day," Warren said. "Donald Trump is the most corrupt president in American history."
Warren Keeps the Pressure On
Warren has been one of Trump's most vocal critics on business ethics. She has consistently opposed his crypto ventures, arguing that the Clarity Act fails to prevent Trump and his family from profiting off cryptocurrency.
Trump, for his part, has insisted his crypto earnings were neither "illegal" nor "wrong," and that the U.S. must lead in cryptocurrency or risk falling behind China.
A White House spokesperson told MarketDash that all actions by the Trump administration are taken in the "best interest of the American people," while rejecting any suggestions of "conflict of interest" for the president or his family.
