Keysight Q3 Details
Keysight reported adjusted earnings of $3.07 per share, which easily beat the $2.48 analyst consensus estimate, according to market data. Revenue came in at $1.85 billion, also ahead of the Street's expectation of $1.74 billion.
The company's two main segments both delivered solid growth:
- The Communications Solutions Group (CSG) pulled in $1.345 billion in revenue, up 43% from the same period last year.
- The Electronic Industrial Solutions Group (EISG) generated $501 million, a 21% increase year-over-year.
"Keysight's record Q3 results and outlook reflect the growing relevance of our strategy and portfolio, which is enabling customers to solve complex engineering challenges across our end markets," said Satish Dhanasekaran, Keysight's president and CEO.
Looking Ahead
For the fourth quarter, Keysight expects adjusted EPS in the range of $3.34 to $3.40, well above the $2.70 analysts were looking for. Revenue is projected to land between $1.93 billion and $1.95 billion, versus the $1.81 billion estimate.
