For the first time since going public, space giant SpaceX (SPCX) will report quarterly financial results Tuesday after the market closes. The highly anticipated event has analysts and investors trying to figure out what happens to the stock during the trading day and after-hours trading session. Here's what MarketDash viewers predict will happen.

SpaceX Earnings Prediction
Analysts expect SpaceX to report second-quarter revenue of $6.93 billion and a net loss of 26 cents per share, according to data from market data.
With no past public earnings, investors will likely focus more on management commentary and future guidance than on revenue and earnings per share with no year-over-year comparison.
On Tuesday morning, MarketDash asked viewers of the daily "PreMarket Playbook" show what they think will happen.
"$SPCX reports earnings today — by 8 p.m. ET tonight, where will the stock trade?" MarketDash asked.
The results are:
- Lower: 52%
- Higher: 35%
- Stays the same: 13%
SpaceX stock opened for trading at $117.33 on Tuesday. Most viewers expect the stock to trade lower than that figure in after-hours trading.
The space stock went public at $135 and opened for trading at $150 on June 12. After surging to a high of $225.64 several days after the IPO, the stock has fallen significantly and now trades 15% below the IPO price and 48% lower than the all-time high.
Past SpaceX Polls
The daily viewers of "PreMarket Playbook," an investing show that runs Monday through Friday at 8 a.m. ET on YouTube, have been the subject of past polls about SpaceX.
The viewers previously predicted SpaceX's opening price on IPO day. The majority of viewers (54%) said the stock would open at $156 or more, while 14% correctly predicted the $146 to $155 range.
MarketDash previously asked viewers what the highest valuation is they would buy SpaceX shares at during the first few days of public trading.
Forty-nine percent said they would not buy at a valuation of more than $1.75 trillion, while 19% said the highest valuation they would pay is $1.75 trillion.
MarketDash also asked viewers what valuation they think SpaceX will have 10 years from now.
"The year is 2036. 10 years from now, the valuation of SpaceX fits in which of the following ranges?" MarketDash asked viewers of the "PreMarket Playbook" show on Tuesday, June 9. Here are the results:
- $2 trillion to $5 trillion: 36%
- Less than $2 trillion: 25%
- $5.01 trillion to $10 trillion: 23%
- More than $10.01 trillion: 16%
SpaceX currently trades at a market capitalization of $1.57 trillion.
