President Donald Trump delivered a stern warning to Iran on Monday: don't even think about rebuilding your nuclear program. Speaking at his Mar-a-Lago estate alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Trump made clear the U.S. is watching Tehran closely and ready to act if necessary.

B-2 Bombers Could Return

Trump referenced June's major air campaign, when U.S. B-2 bombers struck three critical Iranian nuclear sites. Now he's signaling another round could be coming if Iran tries to rebuild its capabilities.

"I've been reading that they're building up weapons and other things, and if they are, they're not using the sites we obliterated, but possibly different sites," Trump told reporters. "We know exactly where they're going, what they're doing, and I hope they're not doing it because we don't want to waste fuel on a B-2."

The June strikes hit facilities at Fordow, Natanz and Isfahan using bunker-buster bombs. Pentagon officials claim the attacks set Iran's program back by up to two years, though earlier intelligence estimates were less optimistic, suggesting only months of delay. Arms-control experts have warned that military strikes alone can't erase Iran's extensive nuclear knowledge.

Iran denies it's pursuing nuclear weapons and has responded with fresh missile drills. Tehran is demanding U.S. guarantees of no further attacks before it returns to negotiations.

Hamas Faces Ultimatum on Weapons

Trump and Netanyahu also discussed advancing to the second phase of the U.S.-brokered Gaza ceasefire, which requires Hamas to disarm and allow an international security force into the enclave. Trump accused the group of stalling and warned there would be "hell to pay" and "horrible" consequences if Hamas refuses to give up its weapons.

The International Force Problem

Israel has made clear it will restart military operations if Hamas doesn't demilitarize. A November UN Security Council resolution calls for deploying an international force and a Trump-backed "Board of Peace" to manage Gaza's transition. But the plan faces significant headwinds. Hamas opposes it, and former U.S. national security officials question whether the demilitarization requirement is even workable, calling it vague and potentially impossible to enforce.
