Tuya Inc. (TUYA), the global AI cloud platform provider behind Tuya Smart, announced the launch of Hey Tuya on Thursday. Think of it as an AI assistant that doesn't just wait for you to bark commands, but actually pays attention to what you do and starts handling things on its own.

How It Actually Works
Hey Tuya runs on a multi-agent collaborative architecture, which is a fancy way of saying multiple AI systems work together to understand your life. The really interesting bit is its memory system. Both short-term and long-term memory allow Hey Tuya to learn your routines, preferences, and habits over time.
Instead of you telling your smart home what to do every single day, Hey Tuya learns the patterns and starts anticipating what you'll want. It might turn on your air conditioner 30 minutes before you typically get home. It could preheat your water heater and open the bedroom curtains before your 7 a.m. wake-up time. As you wind down for sleep, it might dim the lights and activate a humidifier without you lifting a finger.
The company says this continuous learning process makes interactions feel more intuitive, seamless, and efficient. Translation: your smart home actually gets smarter.
Who Can Use It
Hey Tuya isn't just for individual consumers. Global brands and developers can integrate it into their AI devices or customize it further by leveraging Tuya's open platform. The goal is to accelerate the growth of Physical AI, creating a more collaborative AIoT ecosystem.
Tuya's platform already hosts over 12,000 AI agents that handle 155 million daily interactions worldwide. Moving forward, Hey Tuya will incorporate user feedback and best practices to keep improving the experience.
Price Action: TUYA shares closed at $2.21 on Wednesday.
