A selloff of technology stocks after the 2026 midterm elections doesn't have investor Jason Calacanis fazed. The "All-In Podcast" co-host sees wins and compromises for the Republicans and Democrats going forward, which he thinks could help stock markets set records.

Jason Calacanis Predictions
The latest round of predictions from Calacanis doesn't include cryptocurrency, which may be good news for the sector that recently saw negative comments from the investor.
Instead, Calacanis is mostly focused on politics and its impact on the technology sector and overall stock market.
In a post on X on Thursday, Calacanis made the following predictions:
- The Dems are going to force us to exit Iran… President Trump will claim a Bush "mission accomplished!" and take the win for his legacy.
- Inflation drops
- Dems will come out in support of Data Centers and AI, in exchange for repealing tax cuts on the wealthy and some regulation on frontier models.
- President Trump takes credit for brokering this deal and takes a second win for this legacy.
- Ballroom reaches completion… @realDonaldTrump throws a year of ragers. Third win for his legacy
- Pardon paloooooooza… autopen on fire.
- Markets top tick and set new records.
Calacanis told chatbot Grok to remind him of the predictions every month to see how accurate he is.
Stocks He's Buying
Calacanis said that "the floor is in" on Thursday, while also suggesting that tech valuations could go down another 10%, something that he said would be "the ultimate buy time" for him personally.
With the selloff of technology stocks, Calacanis said that "every spare dollar" he can find is going into the following eight stocks:
- Tesla Inc. (NASDAQ: TSLA)
- Space Exploration Technologies Corp. (NASDAQ: SPCX)
- Uber Technologies Inc. (NYSE: UBER)
- Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN)
- Shopify Inc. (NASDAQ: SHOP)
- Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT)
- Alphabet Inc. (NASDAQ: GOOG) (NASDAQ: GOOGL)
- Apple Inc. (NASDAQ: AAPL)
In another post, Calacanis summed up his thoughts on the tech selloff after the midterm elections.
"Vibes rule the markets short term; earnings, management and products win long term," Calacanis said.
