Earnings Snapshot
Oklo reported a third-quarter GAAP loss of 22 cents per share, compared with a loss of 20 cents per share a year earlier. Revenue reached $1.86 million, up from zero a year ago. The figure beat Wall Street's estimate of $1.02 million. Operating loss widened to $71 million from $36.3 million, according to the company's quarterly update. Oklo ended the quarter with $3.13 billion in cash, cash equivalents and marketable securities. For 2026, the company expects operating cash outflows of $120 million to $150 million. It also forecasts capital spending of $400 million to $500 million.
Aurora Reactor Construction Advances
Oklo began structural construction of its 75-megawatt Aurora powerhouse in Idaho. As of Nov. 4, workers had completed reactor-area excavation and started erecting structural steel. The Department of Energy also approved the project's Preliminary Documented Safety Analysis. The company plans to install equipment, complete safety reviews and secure startup authorization before beginning operations.
Meanwhile, Oklo is preparing regulatory activities for its proposed 1.2-gigawatt Aurora Clean Energy Campus in Ohio. The company is also advancing a proposed microreactor at Eielson Air Force Base in Alaska. In Virginia, PJM rejected an interconnection request, while federal regulators denied Oklo's related complaint. However, the company said its Ohio project remains unaffected.
Nuclear Fuel and Isotope Projects Expand
Oklo is developing a fuel fabrication facility in Idaho to produce its first Aurora reactor core. It expects to complete the first fuel assembly in 2027, subject to approvals. The company also secured $6.8 million in federal funding to develop recycled nuclear fuel.
In Texas, Oklo's Groves-1 isotope test reactor reached substantial construction completion after 229 days, with an approximate construction cost of $65 million. Oklo is also advancing Groves-2, a planned isotope production facility targeting Lutetium-177. The company expects its first contracted isotope delivery within 12 months.
Oklo Reserves Manufacturing Capacity for 27 Aurora Reactor Modules
Separately Friday, Oklo announced an agreement with U.S. Forged Rings to reserve planned manufacturing capacity for 27 Aurora reactor module-equivalents, supporting future deployments between 2030 and 2035. The agreement covers reactor vessels, lids and support structures. Initial deliveries are expected in 2030.
CEO Jacob DeWitte said the agreement would strengthen Oklo's domestic supply chain and prepare the company for repeated Aurora reactor deployments.
OKLO Price Action: Oklo shares were trading at $21.20 at the time of publication on Friday, according to market data.
