WISeSat.Space Holdings Corp. (SAIQ) stock traded higher in Friday's premarket session after the company and aerospace partner FOSSA Systems confirmed a satellite launch in October 2026.
The upcoming mission advances the company's Quantum Spatial Orbital Cloud (QSOC) roadmap.
The strategy integrates post-quantum cryptography, hardware roots of trust, and digital identity into space infrastructure.
QSOC And Hybrid Constellation Rollout
The October launch represents the next operational milestone in a four-year partnership between WISeSat and Spain-based FOSSA Systems, in which WISeSat holds an equity investment.
The launch series will support a modular constellation combining WISeSat satellites, compatible partner-operated assets and terrestrial networks.
The company said its longer-term goal is to support secure IoT connectivity and trusted data exchange. The company also aims to enable resilient communications for sovereign and commercial applications.
“The October launch marks the next step in our QSOC roadmap, progressively bringing post-quantum security, hardware roots of trust and digital identity into orbit,” said Carlos Moreira, founder and CEO of WISeSat.Space.
Fresh Nasdaq Debut
The operational update comes shortly after WISeSat completed its business combination with Columbus Acquisition Corp. on Oct. 1, 2026. The stock began trading under the ticker SAIQ on Oct. 2.
CEO Carlos Moreira is scheduled to ring the Nasdaq Opening Bell on Friday, Oct. 9, to commemorate the company's public listing.
