Zeta Global Holdings Corp. (NYSE: ZETA) said Monday it entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Senso. This Y Combinator-backed AI engineering company supports Zeta's Generative Engine Optimization offering.
The deal will bring Senso's technology and AI engineering talent in-house. It will also deepen Zeta's connections to frontier AI models as consumers increasingly use AI assistants to discover brands and products.
Zeta Expands AI Discovery Infrastructure
Zeta said Senso will strengthen its AI trust and discoverability tools. The technology will work alongside the Zeta Data Cloud to help businesses improve how their brands appear across platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude and Google AI Overviews.
The combined technology will also help companies understand who sees AI-generated responses. Businesses can then connect those insights with customer intelligence, marketing campaigns and measurable outcomes.
Zeta CEO David A. Steinberg said competitive advantage increasingly comes from infrastructure that connects enterprise data with AI models and turns those insights into business actions. He said Senso adds engineering expertise and stronger connections to the AI models and personal agents shaping customer discovery.
Steinberg added that the acquisition is separate from announcements planned for Zeta Live 2026.
Senso Team to Join Zeta
Senso co-founder and CEO Saroop Bharwani and his team will join Zeta following the transaction.
Bharwani brings more than 20 years of experience working with regulated enterprises. He founded Senso as an AI research lab during the early adoption of deep learning in enterprise applications.
Bharwani said AI discovery is becoming a larger part of the customer journey. However, he said visibility alone is not enough. Combining Senso's AI technology with Zeta's proprietary data could help businesses improve their presence in AI-generated answers and link those interactions to measurable results.
Zeta said it will work with Senso to ensure continuity for existing customers. LUMA Partners advised Senso on the transaction.
Zeta reported $309.95 million in cash and cash equivalents as of June 30, 2026, at the end of its second quarter.
In July, Zeta Global also closed a new $1 billion credit facility, replacing its previous $550 million facility. The financing includes a $250 million term loan and a $750 million revolving credit facility that was undrawn at closing. The company said the added liquidity gives it more flexibility for acquisitions, share repurchases and general corporate purposes.
Stock Analysis
Zeta stock is trading higher by more than 1% in Tuesday's premarket session as broader market sentiment improves. Nasdaq futures are up 0.37%, while S&P 500 futures have gained 0.26%.
Zeta is also trading near the upper end of its 52-week range. The stock also continues to trade well above several key moving averages. That keeps attention on whether the stock can extend its recent gains and challenge its 52-week high.
At $33.29, Zeta is trading 8.5% above its 20-day simple moving average of $30.65. It is also 15.8% above its 50-day SMA of $28.72 and 55.8% above its 200-day SMA of $21.34.
The wide gap above those averages points to strong momentum. However, it may also leave the stock vulnerable to a sharper pullback if buying pressure fades.
Zeta formed a golden cross in June, when its 50-day SMA moved above the 200-day SMA. The stock is now approaching its 52-week high of $34.80.
Meanwhile, the MACD remains above its signal line with a positive histogram, signaling improving upward momentum. Support sits near $27.50, an area where buyers previously stepped in.
