Cleo Fields Trading Activity
A recent disclosure from Fields shows four stocks bought in the month of September, as tracked by the MarketDash Government Trades page.
The transactions were:
- Sept. 14: Bought $1,000 to $15,000 in Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ: GOOG) stock
- Sept. 14: Bought $1,000 to $15,000 in Netflix Inc (NASDAQ: NFLX) stock
- Sept. 10: Bought $1,000 to $15,000 in Microsoft Corp (NASDAQ: MSFT) stock
- Sept. 10: Bought $1,000 to $15,000 in Microsoft
- Sept. 8: Bought $1,000 to $15,000 in Apple Inc (NASDAQ: AAPL) stock
Three out of the four stocks bought were Magnificent Seven stocks. Fields bought Netflix stock earlier this year, in addition to September's buy.
In August, the only stock added by Fields was Apple. The month of July saw a non-Magnificent Seven stock added: Taiwan Semiconductor stock. In June, Fields bought Nvidia, Alphabet and Microsoft stock, but a non-Magnificent Seven, Quantinuum was added too.
In 2026, Fields has been busy buying up significant amounts of Magnificent Seven stocks. He has bought no Tesla stock, similar to past years, and this year is also skipping out on adding Amazon shares.
Magnificent Seven stocks (Alphabet, Microsoft, Meta, Nvidia, Apple) have been added to the congressman's portfolio multiple times this year, with Apple, Alphabet and Microsoft getting top billing in recent months.
This could signal the rank of order of Fields' favorite stocks, or be based on the price at the time of buying and trying to add to positions while the stocks are down in price.
Fields Trading History
Known mostly for buying Magnificent Seven stocks, Fields has spent millions on stocks over the past two years.
The congressman has made 237 trades totaling $22.8 million, according to data from Quiver Quantitative. That total includes $21.58 million in trades in 2025 and more than $1 million in trades made in 2026.
After making large purchases in 2025, most of the recent transactions from Fields have been in the smaller $1,000 to $15,000 range.
