President Donald Trump said that "artificial intelligence" is an "inaccurate, and very ineloquent" name for the technology earlier this month and asked users to choose from "Superior Intelligence," "Extreme Intelligence" and "Supreme Intelligence" to select a new name for the technology.

Superior Intelligence Wins the Vote

The term "Superior Intelligence" won the poll with 41.5% of the vote, with over 230,000 votes cast on X.

While there is no update from Trump about the rename, prediction markets are abuzz about when the president will change the name of AI.

Polymarket, a Polygon (CRYPTO: POL) based prediction platform that allows users to wager on an outcome using the USDC (CRYPTO: USDC) stablecoin is currently betting on a contract "Trump renames AI by…?"

Over $650,000 has been bet on the contract so far.

The date "September 30" has a probability of 56% as per bettors, up by 7%. "October 31" has a 64% probability and "December 31" is leading with a 70% probability, up by 20%.

'AI Force' And 'AI Czar'

Trump also announced plans to establish an "AI Force" and appoint an "AI Czar" to monitor bad actors in the AI industry.

Trump said the new force would be inspired by the Space Force and would seek out "Bad" activity through the existing criminal justice system.
