American Airlines Group Inc (NASDAQ: AAL) stock rose on Thursday as oil prices eased, with crude falling toward $100 a barrel on Thursday.

Recent updates have been mixed but generally included lower price forecast. Barclays maintained an Equal-Weight rating while cutting its forecast to $14 on Sept. 11, while UBS and TD Cowen retained Buy ratings but lowered their forecasts to $17 and $16, respectively.

Momentum And Value Signals Remain Neutral

The Edge scorecard shows a mixed picture for American Airlines.

The stock scores 40.95 for Momentum, reflecting a recent stabilization in trading activity but limited sustained trend strength relative to the broader market.

Its Value score of 34.76 is also rated Neutral, indicating that the stock does not currently screen as either a clear bargain or an obvious premium based on the model.
