Sanders: 'You're the President, Not a Mad King'
On Wednesday, Sanders took to X to call out Trump directly. "No, Mr. Trump. The American people don't want you to rename the Strait of Hormuz after yourself," he wrote.
He didn't stop there. "They want you to end your illegal war in Iran that has raised diesel prices to $5.69 a gallon & gas prices to $4.12 a gallon," Sanders added, before delivering the kicker: "You're the President, not a mad king. Act like it."
The message was clear: while Trump may be thinking about legacy and branding, Sanders argues voters are thinking about their wallets and whether the country should even be in this conflict.
Schumer: 'No Need for More Renaming Bodies of Water'

Trump has backed or pursued several high-profile renaming efforts, including changing Lake Ontario to "Lake America" and Palm Beach International Airport to The President Donald J. Trump International Airport. His allies have also moved to restore his name to the Kennedy Center and rename its grounds "President Donald J. Trump Plaza."
And in a move that might be the most confusing of all, Trump amplified a proposal to rename Immigration and Customs Enforcement as "NICE" — short for National Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Because nothing says immigration enforcement like a name that sounds like a compliment.
