Wolfspeed Q4 Details
The company reported an adjusted loss of $2.26 per share, which came in better than the consensus estimate for a loss of $2.45, according to market data.
However, quarterly revenue totaled $149.6 million, falling short of the $224.48 million that analysts had anticipated.
Despite the revenue shortfall, CEO Robert Feurle struck an optimistic tone, saying, "We continued to expand our device business, highlighted by strong growth in AI data center applications and the launch of our fifth-generation SiC MOSFET. These achievements strengthen our technology leadership and confidence in our long-term growth opportunities."
Looking Ahead
For the first quarter, Wolfspeed expects revenue in the range of $140 million to $160 million, which brackets the $150.4 million analyst estimate.
Investors seemed less than thrilled with the overall picture, as Wolfspeed stock was down 6.33% to $27.25 in Wednesday's extended trading session.
