The stock trades at about 191 times earnings, reflecting lofty growth expectations. That premium valuation leaves little room for disappointment if results or guidance fall short of investor expectations.

Astera Labs remains up 109% over the past 12 months. However, recent price action has turned lower after the stock reached its June peak and 52-week high.
The stock now trades 27.7% below its 20-day simple moving average and 26.3% below its 50-day simple moving average. Those moves indicate the short-term uptrend has broken.
The longer-term trend remains more constructive. Shares continue to trade 25.6% above the 200-day moving average and about 2% above the 100-day moving average.
Momentum indicators have also weakened. The MACD remains below its signal line with a negative histogram, suggesting buying momentum has faded. A move above the nearby resistance level of $263 could improve the technical outlook.
