CrowdStrike Holdings Inc. CrowdStrike (CRWD) and Cerebras Systems Inc. Cerebras (CBRS) announced a strategic partnership Wednesday to strengthen artificial intelligence-powered cybersecurity. The deal is a classic win-win: CrowdStrike gets access to Cerebras' ultra-fast AI inference to power its Falcon AI Detection and Response (AIDR) platform, and Cerebras gets to use CrowdStrike's Falcon platform to secure its own business.

The companies said the partnership combines high-speed AI inference with AI-native cybersecurity for enterprises deploying AI at scale. In other words, they're trying to make sure that as AI gets faster and more powerful, the security keeping up with it doesn't become the bottleneck.

AI Speed Drives Real-Time Threat Detection

The companies noted that AI is reshaping cybersecurity, and not in a gentle way. Attacks are becoming faster, more targeted, and harder to detect.
