Petco Health and Wellness Company Inc. Petco (WOOF) reported mixed first-quarter results after Wednesday's closing bell, sending shares lower in after-hours trading.

Petco Q1 Details

Petco posted a quarterly loss of five cents per share, missing the analyst consensus estimate of a loss of one cent. Revenue came in at $1.5 billion, just beating the Street estimate of $1.49 billion by 0.49%.

“As we look ahead, we are pleased with the momentum our initiatives are generating, positioning us to continue to deliver positive comps. We remain highly confident in our ability to drive consistent, long-term growth,” said Joel Anderson, CEO of Petco.

Looking Ahead

Petco reaffirmed its fiscal 2026 sales outlook of $5.96 billion to $6.05 billion, versus the $6 billion analyst estimate.
